World Showcase With Kids

I'll be traveling to Disney in November with my husband, son (11) and daughter (8). On our last trip to Disney three years ago, we did a brief tour of World Showcase, but didn't see any of the films, parades fireworks or performances. (We had planned to spend more time in World Showcase, but that's a long story and I won't bore you with it). We're very excited to spend more time in World Showcase this trip. What films, attractions, ect. are "not to be missed?" if you're traveling with kids? Are there any attractions that the kids might not enjoy?

Our DDs(10 and 3)really enjoyed making the masks at the KidCot Fun Stops. You can pick up a mask in any country, decorate it and then collect stamps and little paper "charms" that are representative of each country at the various Fun Stops in WS. There is also a passport you can purchase and have the CMs in each country stamp it. We have not done the passports yet. We have been to WDW twice and have still not spent nearly enough time in WS!! Be sure to pick up a show times guide and check out the live entertainment--especially the Living Statues.

We plan on doing alot more this time at World Showcase. There is alot to do. There is a post here called World Show case Secrets, it has alot of info alot of stuff I didn't know about but will do on our trip this year. Plan on aleast 2-3 evenings there.

The waterfall behind Canada. The Chinese acrobats. The mime show in France and the comedy trio there - can't remember their name. The Living Statues. The characters hidden in areas in many countries - no lines like MK! The hedge maze in England. Beaver tails. That's all I can think of right now. Have fun!
