My Family will be going to WDW in Mid-June.

I'm looking for some Food Suggestions in the World Showcase @ Epcot.

I really don't like the World Showcase...just not very interesting to me...but this year I'm wanting let it win me over thru my "Taste-Buds".

What is your favorite "Must Try" for Country X.

BTW... I don't drink Alcohol.

Thanx!

Moderator...I thought I was in another forum when I made this post...sorry for being in the wrong forum.

We make special trips to Epcot just for the food! Here are some of my family's favorites in the WS.

Mexico- churros ( at Cantina)
Norway- I LOVEEEEE School bread, DH loves the Lefse? and DD4 loves the Rice Cream with strawberries.
Japan- Kaki Gori- triple flavored is the best!
France- I love the Neopolian, DH loves the elephant ears with custard and DD loves the Caramel Souffle
Germany- Brats and soft pretzels and apple strudel- YUM-O!
Also stop in the candy store that is on the other side- they have some wonderful chocolate- especially Toberlerone!
UK- shortbread. They aslo have a candy shop that has awesome chocolate!

Le Cellier for lunch or dinner

France, a snack from the bakery

Germany, a pretzel, braut and kraut

Japan, melon Kakigori (like a sno cone)

Norway, school bread

China, peach oolong iced tea, egg rolls and beef fried rice

I'm hungry already.

Let's see-

I did not eat any this last trip, but I eyed many a patrons dish of fish and chips from the UK. It smelled SO GOOD, but we were always either going to or coming from a sitdown meal in the WS,so I didn't get to try it.

Lemon tart from France's bakery- YUM.

Love the teppan food in Japan.

Funnel cake in USA

I thought I died and went to heaven eating the margarita pizza in Alfredo's this last trip- I LOVED it. So bummed Alfredo's won't be there the next time we go.

I thought all the appetizers we tried at 9 Dragons were very good; entrees were just OK.

I love to eat my way around World Showcase!:thumbsup2

Churros at the Mexican Cantina
Fish and Chips by Great Britian
Chocolate Mousse from France

Though I would not recommend doing them all in a short period of time. I did that, had some wine, and lets just say the I saw all the restrooms the showcase had to offer too! :rolleyes1

You think maybe chocolate and fish don't go together well?

My have to is French onion soup and rolls from France (with creme brulee afterward). We always do this on our last day, as we leave the parks.

I also like the cheese soup and pretzel bread at Le Cellier, and the maple salmon.

Lefse at Norway

Hummus from Morocco

Pork and Shrimp egg rolls at China

I love eating in the WS!
Alfredo's in Italy is one of our favorites, but it is soon closing so this may be your last chance.
We always eat in Japan at the Teppanyaki Dining Room. YUM!
We ate at Tempura Kiku for the first time last year and LOVED it.
We always stop in at Germany for some German chocolate which is just to die for.
Have a great trip!
