Hi everyone, we are leaving next week for our trip to WDW. :cool1: I have two small children ages 2 and 5, we have an evening planned for strolling around the World Showcase at Epcot. I was wondering what shows, performers, etc. would the kids really like. There seems to be so many different options. :confused3

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

When my DS was very little, he loved the Exxon Energy Building - dinos, you know.

The Kids Stop is great for the little ones. WE like to get all the countries and then bring in the mask to school to show the teachers and students.

The Living Statues outside of France are AWESOME. Also if you can catch any of the drum performers (name escpaes me) outside of Japan...my DD4 was mesmerized.

Your kids will love it...there is soooo much to see!

They might enjoy the drummers in Japan.

There were also acrobats in China.

Check the map for the specific times.

Check out this link:

On the right hand side is information about each country including shows and other entertainment options. Enjoy! :)

Thanks for the info! I will definately check out Deb's list. I thought I had read somewhere that the kidcot stations closed early in the evenings, does anyone know about that?

I was worried we would be wandering around the World Showcase, and not see anything!

There is a lady in the Japanese pavilion (Miyuki) and she has showtimes that are listed on the daily times guides distributed at EPCOT.
She makes candy by hand with many many different animal shapes, for free that the child can choose what animal and color etc..
It is a small cart just before the large building where Teppenyaki is and not very well advertised. I would recommend you showing up around 10 minutes before the posted show time and have your child stand up around the rope.
She can only make around 6-9 pieces each show and picks the people waiting 1st. It is very cool and the kids love it...in fact I feel bad for Miyuki sometimes because she could stand there all day making candy if she didn't draw the line somewhere.
My girls just got an armadillo and a penguin on Monday!

What a great idea, we will definately look up the times for the candy making, thanks so much! :earsboy:

Yes, the drum performers in Japan are GREAT! The drum and fife corp in U.S. is also neat to see.

I believe Living Statues never had their contract renewed and therefore are not at EpCot anymore.
We caught a part of their show in Oct and wanted to see them again in Aug.
