Just got back from DL and I can tell you that the traffic was a NIGHTMARE! IT took us about an hour to get out of DLR. Keep in mind that this is only going to happen when the World Series is at Edison Field (as it was tonight) and when the game is either letting in or letting out...but if you're thinking about going to DLR during a game day, I think I'd avoid it.

Well of COURSE, we should all be home watching the GAME and cheering on our team! ;)

Unfortunately no win tonight... :(

If you need to go during a game day I strongly suggest (if you are unfamiliar with the area) take a good map so you can route to the west if you need to. It seems from what we saw the worst was around the 57 and the exits to/from DLR (esp the car pool lane) were a nightmare.
If you are staying at DLR you should be fine. Just try to time your arrival and departures DURING (if you can) the middle of the game so you can avoid the pre & post crowds as much as possible. These crowds do really impact the traffic getting to and from DLR and areas surrounding.
I also suggest you take a small radio so you can keep track of what's going on (and root for the ANGELS!) LOL!!!

We are leaving Disneyland on Saturday Oct. 26th to catch a 6:00 pm. flight out of John Wayne airport. We are taking the airport bus from the Park Place Inn. We were planning on leaving for the airport around 4:00 pm. Should we plan anything different because of the games?

I would leave a little earlier, tiggerpoo, even though you'll be heading in the OPPOSITE direction of the stadium and shouldn't hit that much traffic. The security at John Wayne seems to take a while, and that's why I'd leave a little earlier. :)
