World of Disney - Do they have EVERYTHING?

We were just at WDW in May and my children had a budget for what they could buy for souvenirs. They did very well with it, although both left just hoping they could have had "X" too. They've been great and don't whine, but my daughter is already asking for her item for on her christmas list. Long story long, I've got a meeting in Orlando coming up in August and I typically will get the kids something while I'm away and thought this might be a great opportunity to follow up on those wished for items. What she wants is the Dumbo baby that has the blanket pouch, which we found in the Disney Jr store by Launch Bay at HS. We didn't really look for it anywhere else at the time (since her money was spent), it's not available on the ShopDisney website. I was wondering what the chances are that the World of Disney Store might have it at DS. I won't have park tickets for this trip, so I'm hoping to find it outside the parks somewhere. I would so appreciate any help or insight!

I was there in May also and they didn't have the shirt I ended up buying at HS. I did see merch at the parks and at the resorts they didn't have at WOD. Maybe you can look online and get it ahead of time just in case?

I can only get it for twice the price at various online sellers, its not available through disney online I must admit, it's really cute

I am not aware of any publicly-available direct phone numbers for any stores at WDW.

Yes, they have that as do many stores in WDW. My son received one over a year ago but still takes it to Disney. We were just there last week with Dumbo and my son took him to meet his "cousins" in every store including World of Disney.

If you have an MDE account there is a feature that lets you see what's in stock where on property. I see this currently available at WOD and two other stores in Disney Springs. It's also at many other shops all over property. I think your chances of finding one before Christmas are very good if you just keep looking. I'd also keep checking the Shop Disney app because they are adding things there all the time. We don't buy our kids souvenirs in the parks very often, but we do keep lists for birthdays and Christmas. Most things are very easy to find later, so while I think it's hard to say for sure what will be there in August, I think your chances are pretty good.

I failed to pick up something last November while there and I called the Shop Disney # and they tracked the item down for me and shipped it to me. They said the first time was free but any other time I used that "concierge" service they would charge me. I was looking for a DVC hoodie and I knew they were only available in the DVC resorts. I think I called 800-328-0368. This might be a last option for you.

They are! and they're adorable, but many times the Dumbo one wasn't included with the others. The thrill of the hunt i guess.

It certainly doesn't sell everything but a lot.
You'll especially find more generic items so I bet the dumbo baby in a blanket stuffed animal would be there or at a gift shop in one of the resorts.
Heck you may want to take a quick look at the shop Disney website as they might have it as well.

I checked the website before my last post and they didn't have that particular Dumbo plush.

I'm super hopeful based on MDE's location of onsite stores that I'll find it at DS. Thanks so much for all your thoughts on making this happen for my DD. She's going to be thrilled with her surprise!

They had it there in May. I know because my daughter (who is elephant obsessed) and already bought one in AK and still tried to get another from WoD.
