When it's above the water, I can't imagine it ever doesn't look like a mess.

But this is what I've been afraid of all along. I think if they were planning on implementing a new show, they would be less in a hurry to repair the broken platform. Sort of a "might as well wait until the new show" kinda mentality. But who knows? Fingers crossed that the Villainous theme suggests a Halloween release.

Of course not, I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. This is the scenario I was trying to convey: "We can hurry up and fix it for reopening on August 1. But oh wait, we are premiering a new show on September 7. So why hurry? We can just bring it back online when the new show was set to open, giving us extra opportunity to work on the new show/hardware during the day. Why fix it just to run the old show for 2 weeks." This is just speculation, but I would not be surprised if that's the mentality they take.

Wow. When’s the last time somebody has publicly made a leak that big? I can’t decide if Disney let’s him get by with it or if they come down on him like a ton of bricks for disclosing something he must have signed non-disclosures/confidentially agreements/whatever on. (Yes, I’m assuming the dude didn’t just make this up out of nowhere.) Disney wouldn’t have have had an actor record something like that without making everyone sign confidentiality agreements right? And they are rumored to take them rather seriously but I don’t recall a pubic case of them going after anyone (or an instance of someone specially outing their future plans to spite the company?)...

I don’t think they’re sitting on it out of choice, the amount of money they miss out on selling the dessert party and dining packages has got to make Park execs depressed. I believe the rumor mill says they broke a platform or something which is apparently major damage.

Imho they’ve been brutally honest the earliest it comes back is the end of the year which definitely misses Halloween. The idea that they broke it while engineering a new show for Halloween? Totally possible. In which case it’s also possible the recordings for the show are already done.
