World of Color Superthread

Premium dining is transfering me to regular dining as the CM said it is a dining package and you watch the show from your table. :upsidedow Having said that the first dining CM transfered me to the Premiere dining line. :rotfl2:

More likely, they'll give you reserved standing tickets. :rotfl2:

I'll be quite pleased to get reserved standing area, if it means I don't have to fight the crowds trying to get a ticket in one of the "zones" and hoping it works out okay. Now we have a designated night, a nice relaxing dinner, and a spot in the viewing crowd.

For those July travelers, do you think Sunday July 18 or Monday July 19? Or will both just be mayhem?

Just called to book Ariel's Grotto (no princesses) for 6/27 for the 1st show. I thought is was strange that it is just a reservation, no prepayment or CC required. -- Suzanne

I think it's strange too that you don't prepay. Booked Ariel's for 7/18.
6pm seating, should get a ticket to the 1st WoC show.

I wonder if the tickets from Ariels and Wine restaurant will be the same section? Wonder why the Wine restaurant is more expensive? Maybe I should get a reservation there too!? :)

I agree ~ but I don't mind, I asked about cancelling ~ his response "For the courtesy of others we ask that you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation".

We are at Ariel's Grotto June 13 at 7:20!!

My husband called and the person told him that once there you might have an option to upgrade to better viewing? She made it sound like the Ariel's Grotto seating will be best of the two restaurants. I know, that is only one person saying this, but just throwing it out there.

Can't wait!

So I just called and booked Wine Country Trattoria for July 16th at 7.20pm, which is for the second showing. The CM said she didn't know exact show times yet, but we'd be given our tickets at the end of the meal. She said then we line up at a reserved section on a first come, first served basis with other people who had the package. She said both restaurants seating will be in the same section, the price difference is for the menus at the different places.

Sounds sort of like the Candlelight Processional dinner package; you get a reserved ticket but you still want to line up early. I figure if the resports back aren't too good, we'll just cancel it. I hope the prices don't change, I have to say I think those prices are very reasonable.

Just made a reservation for WCT and got the scoop... CM said ALL of this is subject to change, including times, prices, etc. Right now WCT is taking reservations in time slots for two of the showings- 4-6:30pm and 6:30-8:30pm. Basically you eat your meal and when you leave they give you a ticket for WOC. The catch here is that they MAY RUN OUT OF TICKETS. There is no guarantee that you will get a ticket. They will take walk-ups for the WOC dining package at WCT also. If you do get a ticket, you will take it to a special area to turn it in. They don't know where it will be or whether it will have any seating.

Ariel's Grotto will be EXCLUSIVELY for WOC whereas WCT will not. There is still no guarantee that you will get a ticket at AG but chances are pretty good.

All reservations are on the honor system, there is no payment taken until you dine. They do ask that you cancel 48 hours ahead but there is no penalty.

The CM was very nice and emphasized that they are still getting info and have lots of unanswered questions. I took my chances and booked a WCT 5:00 seating, knowing I can always change/cancel it. We shall see!

Glad I subbed to this thread. Does anyone know which restaurant has a better view of WOC? TIA!

So my 5:40 seating will be for the first WoC show? Killer! :woohoo:

Yes but that doesn't mean you have to wait around that whole time. The CM I spoke with said you get your tickets after you eat then you can go do whatever you want to until you decide to line up for WoC.

Don't think it matters since you won't be viewing from the restaurant. Like someone else said, it sounds like both restaurants will feed into the same reserved area.
