World of Color Ariel's Grotto Meal

I was going to reserve my World of Color dinner from Ariels Grotto but, I just read that after June 14, 2012 Ariels Grotto will no longer offer the World of Color dinners. Bummer! Last year I picked up the picnic lunch which wasn't that great, so, I was hoping for a better meal at Ariel's Grotto. Guess I will have to get the picnic again. . I'm sure it's due to the opening of Cars Land.

You could always try the WCT WOC meal. I haven't heard that anything is happening to that one.

If all you want are tickets to the show (which is what you get in the picnic) you should just get the fastpass at grizzly river run. We never have a problem getting the passes and its better than having to eat that picnic lunch again (not that I dislike it, but after like 2 trips of eating I have had enough). Otherwise Wine country trattoria will continue the WOC dinner package. Grotto will become a character meal for dinner.

We did the picnic one year, but the past two years we just got fastpasses at GRR. Never had a problem getting the time we want or a good section.

I believe that the talk is they are going to add a WoC meal to the new restaurant opening at DCA. So, you might keep that in mind. That said, we've never done a meal for WoC, just grabbed FP's at the machines, we've seen it 3 times now and it's been good every time.

I thought of getting a FP for it but, we are going June 20 & 25 right after Cars Land opens. It may be a problem getting a FP. Last year, when we bought the lunches to get the pass I was happy where we were for WOC, I just didn't care for the meal.

Just send someone over to DCA to grab FPs. I think most people in the morning will be concentrating on navigating Carsland, not trying to grab WOC FPs.

I agree, with the flood into Cars Land, I doubt WoC FPs will harder to get.

I'm rather sad about Arie'ls Grotto no longer offering the WoC package. My husband and I have gone the last two times and really enjoyed the meals there. Noting ever remains the same though. There are always new experiences at least.

For me, I would prefer to go to dinner at ariel's grotto with the Princesses, than get the woc fastpasses, since the passes are much easier to get now that the show has been around for a bit. I am looking forward to that experience.

I am very sad about Ariels as well! However it sounds like the new Carthay restaurant will be added to the WOC dining. If this happens I am going to be thrilled to try a new dinner in a long awaited restaurant. I would also suggest to you the Wine Country Trattoria. That place I found quite good.
