World Idol

Did anyone watch "World Idol" last night? I only saw the guys from Belgium and Norway perform, and I was wondering what the rest of the show was like?

i didn't watch it either....i honestly don't like the American Idol show...when it was the first season and it was new i watched it, but they have to change it or something to keep the audience interested

I thought a lot of people did really well. The Poland judge was ragging on everyone but he complimented the polish girl even though she was the worst singer of the bunch. I really liked the guys that sang "lithium" and "beautiful day". They really did sound like Kurt Cobain and Bono. I think it'll be close between kelly and the guy from the UK.

i didnt watch it but i heard some guy did a cover of Lithium by Nirvana. Nirvana is my favorite band, but did the guy do a good job on the song or did it suck? So many people have tried to cover Nirvana and really sucked at it. But this guy might have been good.

So Kurt, the guy from Norway won! I was actually surprised the guy from South Africa didn't get as many votes as I thought he would.

I just wish that they would of filled up the results show with performances from the contestants (like they normally do) instead of Elton John or that girl from the Spice Girls.

Yes, she definitely was. And the song she "lip-synched" was awful. I was surprised they had her on the show since none of the Spice Girls have been successful as solo artists. Maybe she's still popular over in England, but they still shouldn't have put her in the show.

Victoria Beckham is really famous in Britain but thats only because of David not because of her singing.
