We tried to get WW to come to our worksite to offer the program. Unfortunately, we needed at least 14 people to sign-up and we just couldn't get the commitments. A few of us have decided to follow through. We have a scale at work and designated a staff member to take weights each week during our lunch hour. Each week a different staff person will be the facilitator, bringing recipes and sharing ideas. Many in the group have done WW in the past so we will still be using the same format. Each staff person will give $20. $10 will go to incentives for doing well each weigh-in and the other $10 will be put into a pot. The person who does the best will receive the pot at the end of our 12-week program. We will also have walking groups during the week and will doing exercising videos in the conference room. :yay: Everyone is excited and a little work-site competition never hurts!

The nurse at my scshool ran something like this last year. We paid $10 a month and the biggest loser among the women adn the mem won the pot. I won the first pot by losing 10 lbs last Feb. We are not doing the contesst but I hope to repeat the lost (I even lost a few more pounds over the year and have kep it off for the most part.)
