I need some new workout music on my ipod. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

I don't have any specific songs for you, but I just came across this website from one of my Good Housekeeping magazines - http://www.djbpmstudio.com/.

The ideal walking pace is 100 bpm, so you're supposed to find songs around that beat for walking for weight loss. In your case, I would take songs with a beat you like, look them up to find out what beat they are at, then find other songs with similar beats.

For example, I like Katy Perry, so I pulled up the List by Artist, looked up Katy Perry, and found the songs I have are about 65 bpm. Then I clicked on the bpm for a song and pulled up other songs in that range.

I don't know what type of workouts you are doing, but I just downloaded The Black Eye Peas 'I Gotta Feeling' for running.

Go to the iTunes store and look for The Workout Heroes as the artist. They have 100 workout hits for $11.99!!!!!!!! Mostly remixes and covers of old favorites BUT they give you the BPM and you can't beat 100 songs for 12 bucks!!!!!

AND if you listen to the Workout Heroes version and you don't like it... at least you know what "original" to buy.

Check out the archive at podrunner.com

Lots of BPM mixes. I recognize little of the music, but it fills the space/time.

311, RHCP, Clutch & Skillet are just a few of the bands on my iPhone that keep me moving mile after mile:yay:
