Working with Fredrickson's DCVmanager

The program appears to be an awesome tool but I am running into some problems. I am hoping someone can give me some assistance with this program.

#1. It will not allow me to put points in from past year. I banked points from last year to this year. When trying to enter the banked points from last year it indicates that I dont have enough points to bank. Is there someway to enter these points in a round about way?

#2. I entered all of my info and saved it but now it is all gone. Tried again by entering all the info and saved it but again it is all missing.

Anyone have a clue why my saved info is gone?

If you put last year in as the Use Year for the contract, not this year, you will then be able to bank points into this year. It will show you have a point balance for last year but just ignore it, the current year's points will be correct. As for the lost data, make sure you are selecting the same property to manage each time, the data is saved according to the property, so if you enter a contract for BWV it will only show the data when you choose BWV from the first drop-down box. Skip Wiley The only use year it will provide is Jan- Dec for 2005. It does not provide 2004. I down loaded it two days ago. I finally figured out why it was not saving the date. Had something to do with the way I was opening the program. So with that solved I still have the problem of trying to get my 2004 points in the program so I can enter my vacations.

In the contract information section try deleting the contract you have already entered. Add the contract again by typing in the contract # and points, then for the use year click on the month and use the up/down arrows to select the correct month and then click on the year and use the up/down arrows to select the previous use year. For example, if your use year is August, you want to enter August 2003, then you will be able to bank points into the current (2004) use year. Once you click on the year, the up/down arrows will allow you to select any year. When banking the points, make sure to select 2003 for the From Use Year and 2004 for the To Use Year. Hope that helps!

Finally got it !!!!! I was not clicking on the individual year to change it. I will now see if I can get everything up to date. thanks much
