Hello!

I’m planning to work remotely from Disneyland one day next month. What are your recommendations for best locations in the park? Most of my work is via emails but sometimes I need to login to the vpn for proprietary systems and make a couple calls.

Off the top of my head, I think of the outdoor seating area of Pizza Planet and Galaxy’s Edge.
I might just bring in my laptop but would need to charge it at sometime.

Personally, I favor retreating to the hotel/timeshare room?

Are you bringing your own internet hotspot and have you tested it from the DLR areas for sufficient strength to carry the VPN or similar loads?
It would only be for a few hours, not a whole day.
I have a hotspot on my phone that I’ve used for working when I was traveling so I know it works fine.

So, I haven't tried this since 2018 so I'm not sure if this advice is still holds:

In the Fiddler, Fife & Practical Cafe at DCA (aka Starbucks) there are power outlets you can use. One is to the far left as you enter, at the end of the bar lining the windows. There is another by the trash cans on the left wall, but that's not as convenient because you have to stand over the trash, and I think the third is to the far right, near the trash cans at the end of the bar by the door. I would bring my laptop and work while staring out at Carthay Circle.

My other favorite place to work - but without access to power - was sitting at the outdoor tables between Jolly Holliday and Refreshment Corner in Disneyland, for views of the castle. I also like the outdoor tables between Market House (aka Starbucks) and the clothing shops on Main Street - it's a bit more secluded.

There really isn't a quiet place in the parks for a phone call - I've searched - so hopefully the people on the other end know where you are :D You can always duck into the lobby of the Grand Californian if you need a comfy chair for a lengthy call. And if you are in Downtown Disney, the outdoor tables at La Brea Bakery were usually available and there are decent bathrooms (or at least they used to be decent - we moved and it's been a while)!
