working out on total gym - how much muscle is too much?

Ok so lets say I get to goal and start working out again on my total gym. I know I could have been using this all along but I have the mindset that muscles make me look too bulky.
So I start gaining weight cos of the muscle. Then I can loose weight again to get to goal? Will I look too bulky? or more defined?
 
Mostly, unless you are working out to be one of those competitive body builders, your workout should give your body a more toned look and your stronger muscles will make your system much more efficient and healthy.

Remember, your weight loss should also include the fact that you want and need to be more healthy. It seems to me that most diet plans today contain the caveat that exercise, and this includes aerobics and resistance weight training, should go along with the diet part.

Now, I wish I could follow the knowledge I have and get with an exercise program. I still can't get into any routine.
