Not sure it this thread is out there. But if you could work at Disney what would be your Disney Dream Job.

I think i would enjoy the technical aspects of Disney, making sure everything was working. I am more of a behind the scenes person :wizard:

:disrocks:

As I've said before, I'd like to work with Disney's customer database. It would be fun to try to find ways to improve people's experiences by trolling that database.

Other than that, I'd be happy with any job with customer contact.

For me the ONLY job would be

Mickey Mouse!!

Hot or not, that would be my dream job!!:cheer2:

I know its not permanent, but I would love to be a member of the dream team

I think I'd like to be either a bus driver or drive one of the boats between the Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness.

I always planned to work at Disney when we move there in 10 years. Sadly, I don't think I could support my family on the amount of money I hear they pay. I got an email about some Disney job fair, and it says starting pay for just about every posisition in the park is between $7.50 - $9.50 an hour. I couldn't even support myself on that income, let alone my family.

I don't think I'd want to work at Disney. Disney is a vacation - I don't want to equate work with vacation. And I don't want to know how they do some of the magical things they do. I just want to enjoy 3-4 times a year.

I would love to work as a Disney Imagineer. Being part of the animation team or special effects team or even the set design team would be incredible.

I have loved Disney all my life. It is my escape from reality...my escape back to childhood when the only thing you worried about was who you were going to play with and what you were going to do. I thought about getting a job at Disney, but then I would see all the behind the scenes stuff and it would lose the magic. It is for this reason that I buy the pass every year and go whenever I want. I just hate waiting the 45 minutes it takes to get there from Tampa. =) If I had to choose, I would be the person who escorts the families around for the Give Kids the World or Wish program (can't remember the name). I want to be the person who makes that child's every wish come true. Maybe I can do that now.....

I would love to be a resort concierge, goofy I know, but I love helping people and sharing everything I know about WDW. I also have experience as a meeting planner and event coordinator and have sat at the information desk many, many times, so it's kind of in me.

During my last trip I was waiting at the BC concierge desk to have my Southwest boarding passes printed when a woman started asking the concierge person at the next station some questions. Everything she asked the young woman had to either call someone or look it up, finally when she asked her last question and the young woman said I'm not sure, but let me call over there and ask...I had to but in and just tell the woman the answer. I could have answered everything she asked without one single call. I was more qualified than the girl behind the counter.

When we returned home I started to seriously think about relocating to Orlando area and pursuing that dream...until I got the e-mail about the job fair and saw the salaries. No way I'd be able to live on what they pay. :sad1:

I would be a creative detailist....

I would love to be part of the group that takes a main topic and researches and comes up with all the little details that go into the overwhelming experience of each attraction. Things like hidden Mickeys, the tinkerbell effect at the castle, etc. Most of the things that most people won't notice I always seem to pick up on and appreciate. Those are also the things that seem to be talked about on the boards as well. You seel stuff like that in the newer movies they have. Being a car guy I have seen CARS a few times, and still pick up on the background stuff they "hid". It's part of what maked Disney the #1 attraction for everyone-the details.

WOW i didnt think i would get so many different answers :confused3
But glad to see what everyone would like to do!

This is one of my favorite sites!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Without a doubt I'd like to work as an Imagineer.
There's something intriguing about those people who work on everything from major attraction design to the color and shape of the smallest theme park sign.

BTW: Please do not confuse this answer with the one that appears in my signature line below (grin). You could give me a chance to get close to my dream by casting a vote!
Thanks.

Hard question to answer:confused3. I love Disney World but on one hand, I would be afraid that it would spoil the illusion and magic of Disney. On the other hand, I do think it'd be pretty cool to help decorate the parks/resorts for the holidays-especially Halloween and Christmas!:goodvibes

I'd want to work in the television production department producing videos. I've applied many times, with no luck. But it's still a dream!

my mom said i should be a piece of garbage.. i guess she means so i can experience the AVAC system first hand?

ETA: oh sorry, she said i AM a piece of garbage.. nevermind

This isn't me, but my mom always says that her dream job would be working as the attendant at the beginning of the rides. You know the ones that are like "how many in your party?", "row 4".. haha!

As for me, any job at disney would be my dream :)

A performer for the parade/shows or a cast member on the haunted mansion.:goodvibes
