Working Christmas

DW has to work Christmas Eve 7pm to 7am and Christmas Day 7pm to 7am.
So... we went on the cruise thinking we would skip Christmas..
I should have known that wasn't going to work!!
DW leaves for work around 530... she's all teary eyed.. DD is starting to cry..
Totally major stress..
So.. I had to figure out a way to inject a little Christmas Spirit..
What about a Christmas Tree?????
DD and I go out into the pouring rain with my trusty bow saw and hunt down the perfect... well ok it looks like heck Tree!
DD pronounced it the "best christmas tree ever" (what the HECK was I spending all of that money on christmas trees for all these years?) And DW was giggling madly when she got home so I guess it worked!!
DW is sleeping and DD is already gone to a friends house. I'm cooking a turkey dinner for before DW goes back to work...
