Who here has to work Bingo for their child's school?

I have to work in the kitchen and today's my day. I cannot stand the mean customers who come in and demand. I swear, they have no manners! I'm constantly told "Get me a coffee" and "I want a Coke!" Uh, ever hear "May I please ...?" And, they can just be so rude! They complain to us about the cost of pizza, coffee, soda, etc. like we make the prices up. We always tell them to tell it to the priest b/c he's the one who sets the rates. It frosts my cookies. Knowing I have to work bingo totally ruins the whole day for me. I have been dreading it since I woke up!

I totally do not want to go ... made DH go to the last several ones b/c I had meetings at my school. Sure, we get money off of tuition and we do it once a month, but I'm sooo convinced that we should just pay the extra cash and not have to deal w/ Bingo at all!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent. I have to leave in 1/2 hour and I can't believe I have to deal w/it!!!!!

I've never worked bingo, but I sure do understand your point about rude ordering!

I spent most of my high school years working at McDonalds and it never failed to set my teeth on edge when someone would just walk up and say, "Yeah, gimme a cheeseburger..." Hello! You're still talking to a person!

I hope it gets a little better for you. At least you're helping to support the school!
