Got it in 3 today.
First word got me

Used my second rando world

So I have the letter in slot three and four and the two different letters I have must go in slot two or 5. Given the letters I know are gone, I have a good handle on which goes where.

I had several words to try. But instead of another throw away to test them I wanted that 3. So I put in the most commonly used of the bunch and got lucky.
