I'm getting ready to buy tickets and noticed the following wording "Just a reminder: All sales are final. We can not accept returned tickets due to the magnetic strip on most tickets, only the Park itself can determine if a ticket has been used."

Does ticketmania not know if they are buying new tickets or not? This really is a concern to me. Has anyone had any problems with this vendor?

You are thinking of it backwards. They are saying they cannot take a returned ticket because they cannot tell if they buyer has used it or not. That's why all sales are final.

Well, DUH!!! Talk about having a blonde moment!! Thanks Allison for the hand holding.

I ordered from them recently and got my tickets last Friday. I didn't have any problems. I think they get the tickets right from Disney - they look like the ones Disney sent me last year!

Not a problem. ;) By the way, Ticketmania has a very good reputation on this board. Lots of people use them. I bought tickets last spring and they did a great job.

Another satisfied TicketMania customer. We have bought from them a couple of times. In fact, this past Christmas my DN lost her ticket and we had a copy of the SN (provided by TM) - so guest relations @ OKW was able to issue a replacement ticket on the spot!

Moral of the story: IMHO, Ticket Mania is a fine company. They provided excellent customer service by providing a copy of the ticket numbers with my order.

Disclaimer
I do not work for TM, nor do I have a monetary interest in their company.

We bought our tickets from Ticketmania for our trip last month. They delivered the paper tickets to Coronado Springs. When we checked in, the desk clerk put them on our room keys. We had no problems and would use them again.

Another Ticketmania fan here....bought our tickets from them last trip, wonderful service. We'll be using them again this trip!

Here is how it works:

Disney has discounts for LARGE BULK orders of tickets ( hundreds of tickets sold in one transaction ). The discount ticket retailers then go off and sell the tickets that they buy at a discount at a price somewhere in the middle of where they buy them, and disney "gate" value.

Lame and over simplified Example which i just made up:

Disney gate value for X ticket is $100
Disney offers a $10 discount for 1,000 tickets in a bulk sale, so they are $90/tic
Discount seller then sells X ticket for $95

(all values in this example may or may not be correct. They are just for example purposes only. )
