and virtually me, I was doing that at first, but now I just go for broke even if there are people close to me. because now its all about the ice. I just dont care about credits anymore LOL, I want the 2 ice cubes!

If you take VirtuallyMe's post, and combine it with this post, you'll arrive
at my own strategy. I broke the 260k barrier, average the same as
VirtuallyMe.

But like you, Aengus, I realized that I shouldn't stop at 240k but go for broke
on winning the game, as it's all about the ice for now!

I have only gotten just above 250,000. I doubt I will ever get to 260, much less 270!

But man I like getting that ice!

I like to try and shoot the fireworks LOL I wish i had something better to say, hit him often, hit them late, but hit them. Missing is a sure way to not get your high score.

Hey I hit 265 yesterday...

DH reports that he played at work on his new computer using wireless connection and came close to 270- so he suggests I stop by his office and play a few games- may do that later this week lol and see if it makes a difference

As for the person who asked how you do it- you play a lot for once and learn the patterns of fireworks (there are multiple different patterns but they do repeat) and you make sure not to miss any- even if they aren't flawless when you hit them- some points are better than none... As you play lots and lots you learn the wait times and just get the rhythm of when to hit them for higher scores...

Before Christmas I was happy to break 200K and celebrated each landmark I made- in January I hit 240 for the first time- and my game score average is slowly climbing- thanks to ice and increased credits my scores are also improving lol... I know my ice count is somewhere in the 70's now lol and even though Saturday and Sunday I spent about 30,000 credits on my rooms I have made that and a little more back up yesterday playing just a few games
