We purchased our tickets through www.southwest.com, current seat sale.

We got direct flights from Buffalo to MCO for $89.90 each way, and because we booked through southwest we get 2 checked bags free each. If we booked the same flight through Airtran we would have to pay for our bags.

My family of four is flying down to Florida and home for $719.20.

Great price! When are you going?

Oh and I thought I did great when I got tickets for 5 us on JetBlue for $1300. You have me beat lol.

Anything under $250 a person round trip is a great deal. We bought our tickets for April back in november. I have watched as they have gone up steadily since then. At one point they were almost double what we paid.

Wow, Last year I found flights for $150 from Detroit to Orlando and I was shocked. Then in November I flew out to Disneyland because the flights where cheaper than Orlando.

Now you just might have saved my day, If I drive 2.5 hours northeast to Buffalo I could do all 3 of us in October over Thanksgiving for $539.

That is crazy considering Detroit is only 2.25 hours south of me and its over $900 for all 3 of us for the same dates.

I hate airlines. I do not have to worry about hotels as I have a very good employee discounts at many Orlando properties including some on WDW property. I know it is our Thanksgiving and I believe they have a holiday too but I think I may just have to book these. Or atleast start watching Buffalo more closely.

Now that we have done both Disneyland and WDW , I would really like to try a split stay and do 4 days at WDW and 4 at Universal. I was upset though thinking we may have to drive.

Thanks for the heads up for Buffalo. I have not heard alot about Southwest. At work I hear everyone complain about Spirit .

Have you flew with Southwest before ? Are they decent ?

Congrats :thumbsup2. Too bad they didn't have flights for me!! I had checked before booking my flights.

Our flights from Detroit were 333.00 a person. You got a good deal out of Buffalo.

Mytymom, we have flown Southwest several times now--we have never been late enough that I remember, they've never lost my bags, and we've always had good service. Kind of like Westjet, only moreso. Add "cheap" to that and they are easily my favourite airline.

Oh man that is so tempting. It's even the 8am direct and the 6pm direct coming home...

WOW what a great deal!!! So happy for you! :cool1: We went to WDW in October last year and I was pumped to get 2 direct BUF-MCO tickets on Airtran for $550...guess I'll have to stalk the Southwest website for a seat sale for our next trip!

We recently booked direct flights from BUF to MCO for 230 roundtrip on Southwest and thought that was god deal, way to go :)

As much as our taxes tick me off ...I just don't feel warm and fuzzy about too many US carriers. I always liked Jetblue..trusted their safety over others including Southwest...but am watching a 20/20 at the moment and a flight attendant is talking about making less than 10K a year ...who can live on that? And that Pilot that went awol!? Also Jetblue...scares me.

I am unnerved by cheap flights. It costs me $100 to fill the tank in my car. How are they flying these planes and filling those tanks with little revenue from passengers? Where are they cutting corners? That's scary to me..:confused3

That's a GREAT deal!! We usually find them around $133 or so, it's been awhile since we hit the flight jackpot like that! :cool1:

I hope they have those prices for Nov flights as well. Wasn't planning on flying southwest again because I don't like the seating but if it is that cheap why not. I'll just pay the $10 for early bird this time. Congrats & hope you enjoy your trip. :)
