I have finally booked for Orlando 2012!

My boyfriend and I are heading to Orlando a week earlier than my family and staying in Disney for the week! Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to stay at Disney. :goodvibes Unfortunately for me, my family aren't big Disney fans so that never happened. :sad2: Plus it made much more financial sense to stay in a villa.

So 2012 will be my Disney year!!

As I've already said, my boyfriend and I are heading to Disney a week early on the 21st July and staying in Disney for a week. My family then head out on 28th July and we will join them in a villa for the next 2 weeks.

We went back and forth on our hotel choice- between Saratoga Spings and Old Key West. Eventually we decided on Old Key West studio room. :woohoo:

We got a very good deal through Complete Orlando (much cheaper than Disney as Disney UK just hiked their OKW prices up for that date :scared1:)

Time to start planning!!

(p.s. flights and villa have been booked for 3 weeks so Disney was the last thing to book)

Yay happy planning!!:banana::banana: Might see you there!

All being well we will be checking into OKW 21st July for 3 weeks.
Just checked prices, no hikes for us, same price they have been quoting since they released prices.

3 of us for 3 weeks with 3x 21 day Ultimates £3,515.25 less 3% Quidco = £3409.79 plus $150 giftcard & other vouchers.

CO £3,285, about £28 cheaper than Disney.

Whereas Disney price has not changed CO has dropped by £42 from £3,327 since Disney announced the $150 giftcard.
Not sure who I will use yet.

what a lovely feeling it is to be finally booked :goodvibes enjoy your planning!

Have a fantastic time and happy planning.

We loved our studio at OKW in 2010 and have booked again there for october 2012.

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited to get planning!

Wayne, I was planning on booking with Disney but on my dates the room went from around £850 to over £1500! :scared1: Couldn't believe it!

I'm so glad you guys enjoy OKW- I'm sure I'll be popping here every so often with questions.

Just a quick one now- I would love to use Magical express from the airport. Can I use this even though I booked with CO? How do I do it?

Thanks!

Just looked its £945 less discounts now, no idea how you were quoted £1500:confused3 No worries everyone seems to like CO.

Anyone can use ME if staying onsite, Details here http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/airport-service/
There is an online reservation somewhere but I don't have the link to hand, hopefully someone will post it.
