I just paid off the balace of our september trip. $2480 US became....

wait for it.....


$2495 CAD!!!!

don't fret, it could have been what it was 1.5 yrs back, when the exchange was around .70 cents now that hurt paying off my balance...

We've gone for the last 3 years, and I remember our first trip cost HUNDREDS more in Canadian. I couldn't believe it yesterday when I saw it was only $15 more. I actually shrieked and danced around a little!

I had given dd a disney can bought at the dollar store that she couldn't open to put loose change into. We broke it open and she had $145 in cdn change, we took it to the bank and she got $141 US...great exchange rate

My final payment is getting charged tomorrow! Very happy that the exchange rate is so low! This just makes me feel like we made the right decision to go ahead with our upcoming trip again...can't wait!

made our final payment to CAA on Sat. and 2200US cost me 2211.66 plus the extra that M/C charges for the transaction. come on Sept. 49 days and counting
