I am still in shock that i am home and we got to go after all ...As some of you may no we have been trying for a year to go ..But as our luck keeps trying me, everything has been breaking and dying in our house... I had ressys made for january 15th to jan 23 ..I kept holding off canceling them ..We were just gonna go next month after we recieved our income tax.... But as you are all aware, the prices all will be more..So we just decide we would do it on the budget we had and itll be pb and j for all the meals ....So off we go jan 15th 6:30 am, van is packed and kids a ready to go ......Disney world here we come....
I packed sandwiches on the way and lots of snacks , So all we did was stop for bathroom breaks....I knew we wouldnt be able to drive through from pa to florida with out a motel stop.. 5 kids no way.[ Z14, C13, T8 and A&A 5 yrs..] So we stay at a super 8, 3 double beds 73 bucks...Woo hoo under budget .[.I figured 100 plus]Ok doing good ...We drive through and get to holiday inn kids suites by about 4
o ..No one warned us that the directions they give are never right lol..We drive right past it like 3 times, that side doesnt say holiday inn ..It said gateway something or other.. Any hoo , we are here I for one cant believe it ..I dreamed and dreamed for this day to come and here we are ...Omg we unload our suit cases and try to settle in ...We venture out trying to find publix for some food we couldnt bring with ..I decide to look at the gift shops for the autograph books i forgot...
{day 1 } Did the free breakfest they had.
Ok ready Mlk ws onmonday so we decide to go to animal kingdom for our first day ..The place was empty ..It was great..We went into the lion king show first up ...Omg they saw us come up with the wheel chair and they open doors and take us in first to be seated ..Right in the front ...As it fills up i lean over to ds and tell him it may be loud and to just cover his ears..{ son in wheelchair} The show starts and omg we were all amazed with the whole show..The guys that walks with the stilts leans next to ds in wheelchair and puts his hand out for five..I could of cried{ok i did lol } He didnt freak out had the most amazing smile...Hubby and i look at each other and we are like ok maybe he will do well ...That was one of our many encounters with how they saw us coming with the wheel chair and sent us in the right pathway... We then see Goofy ..He does well here to no crying .[.I am crying here since santa is the most horrible thing on the face of this plant .]He then starts freeking out as we leave goofy {we all think ok here we go} But to our surprise he sees another character and we need to go right over...Ok then we see the pooh gang and he just is haming it up ..I think he likes the fact they didnt talk and he didnt have to try to cummunicate and them not understanding him ...Next up the tree of life...So cool . We diecide to do the bugs life show..Well Andy loved it but to my surpise his twin Mandy hated it...She hid her face in my side part of the show ..She hated the stink bug and how we were snotted on ..Lol . And how the bugs were under her seat..Life had ended for dd ..But hubby loved it ...And still laughs about the **** roaches and beetles leave first...
We did everything ...we could do and all that intersted the big gap of ages we needed to make happy..
.Wow we made it through day one ..I did buy 6 mickey bars as the snack for that day.. Not bad since we packed a sandwich and lots of snacks ...I did get the picture they took of all the kids with baby simba in there hands ..It turned out sooooo cool i had to get it {5+7}..We spent maybe a whole 30 bucks not bad....Ok ready for day 2 Magic kingdom...
