Just had to tell somebody, just booked my next trip to the best Holiday destination in the world, think this will be my 6th visit, or is it 7th?
Had been looking to go next Spring half-term holidays but the cost of flights going Sat to Sat was extortionate so I finally talked SWMBO into taking the kids out of school for just 3 days to allow us to go Tues to Tues (8th to 22nd April) and the price has tumbled.
I am using a friends villa (cheap) and was initially looking at Continental Airlines from Manchester via Newark at around £1400 for a family of 4 plus another £200 for car hire. But have now got Virgin fly-drive (direct flights obviously) plus car (upgraded to Premium grade via FVC) for just £1425. Add on £100 for car insurance and £850 for the 4-bed villa and I believe we have got a cracking deal!
Guess I will be loitering on here a lot for the next few months looking for advice and hints on attraction tickets and stuff.
