Woohoo Just Booked RPR

I just booked my December trip at RPR. This will be my 1st trip in many many years to Universal and the first trip for my kids ever. We booked December 4th to December 9th at the AP rate of $134 per night. We're so excited!!! Harry Potter here we come, LOL!!!

For all you Universal veterans out there, do you have any tips for pretty much a newbie? Plus fill me in on everything RPR. When I was last there Universal was only 1 park and didn't have either hotel.

You will love it. We didn't have a plan on our first visit. We chose US first and did a loop. Hit each ride all the way around. But with WWoHP that has all changed. Getting up early and hitting the early admission at least once this year. Have fun and enjoy your vacation! RPR is amazing. The hotel is beautiful, and you will not be disappointed. It is like a beautiful island resort.

There are absolutely no crowds in early December. You will feel like you have a private viewing.

We just booked December 2-5th also with APH. $134 for one night then $158 for the other 2. Then we get the free upgrade to water view.

We originally booked 8-11 and it was $100 more with only water view available at the APH rate. So I checked and instead of a Thursday to Sunday we are Friday to Monday for cheaper with upgrade to same room.

I'm happy for you all! I've been waitng for the December AP rates to come out and was glad to see the post.

Sad for us though, no AP rates past the 13th. We are going to be there 14th-17th and it looks like the SMSM at $197 is going to be my best rate. Has anybody ever gotten AP rate during our time frame?

I'm a gold Loew's you first member. It's a program for Loew's hotel. So I guess it's not really free since you need to stay a lot to get the upgrades and perks.
