**Woohoo !! It's Christmas Day**

I got a couple of small presents today and I've already bought for my friend's baby in Lincolnshire.

We were in Debenhams a couple of weeks ago and they had a few decs out. Myself and the children were looking (and we bought a couple) and DH walked off, absolutely refused to even browse at anything Christmassy in August. Then spent the next ten minutes moaning how soon they won't bother putting them away in the shops, they'll be available all year round.

Some people just don't get it do they?

Love the decs Mandy and Karen! I spent a small fortune on decs this year at the christmas shop in DTD, I can't wait to get everything up, I treated myself to the tree skirt i have been admiring the past couple of visits so that is going to look lovely! Normally i put our tree up on the 1st of december but it falls on a monday so i will have to put it up on the 30th November ;)

Me to - I would love to see a pic of your tree skirt as I want to get a Disney one this year for my disney tree. :goodvibes

Girls,

I'm getting really excited about Christmas now.

I've already written my cards and bought pressies :thumbsup2

Kids want money for WDW in June so I'll get $ if the exchange rate is good, that way they can't spend it till we go.

Or is that just horrible ?

:santa: :santa: :santa:

I can't write my cards yet-as i love doing them when the tree is up-lights twinkling-christmas songs playing in the background on a cold+damp dreary day.
I don't think it's horrible about there spending money. We go next April+the girls will be getting presents from us,but from the family they are getting a small gift+the rest is in $$.x.

We leave for Manchester Airport on Christmas Day, so all my Crimbo stuff will go up the last weekend of November, then a few days before Christmas I will take everything down, except for the main tree, and that will be put away once we've opened our pressies

Hi all

We really should post on here more often...

Anyway we fly out on the 15th December from Manchester, for 2 weeks and its going to be our first Christmas away from home, but can't think of a more magical place to spend it right now.

Good old Tesco clubcard points got a us a free holiday after 2 years of saving so have paid extra direct to disney to book us in the Grand Floridian for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Doubt we will get this opportunity again as out little boy will be in proper school from next year and we are loathed to take him out (plus the school aren't keen on it).

Ive bought a christmas present lol!!

but I wont be going to the whit rose again, I had so many people walk into me!

and someone touched my bump (bless them they got a few choice words about private space and ot knowing me)

so Im resigned to internet shopping now

I bought my first Crimbo present this morning ~ a bottle of Rum for my dad (you can see where I get my love for Rum from ;) ) :santa:

Woo hoo....so I guess tomorrow we can do a DD dance? :lmao:

I have been doing some christmas shopping the past few days. I have finished my 6 Nephews (three of them have birthdays between now and christmas so I've got them sorted too). Just need to get a few more bits for my two Nieces and then that's the kids done!

I am also off to Bluewater shopping centre tomorrow so I may even get some more done then! :goodvibes

I am adamant I will start early this year, I did last year and it really worked well for me - only 100 days to go

I got some cool Spiderman figures down from 29.99 - 7.48 in Tesco today for DS. I am struggling for ideas this year :lmao:
