I just called WDW and got a ressie for AKL for $161/nite for Prez WEEK. CAN YA TELL I'M EXCITED..... Okay, I can officially faint now... !

But if there are just 4 or less in your party I'd probably stick with the AKL...it is really nice and just a great atmosphere to be in....WOO-HOO for you and you didn't even have to call and cancel and do the dizzy dance trying to decide where to stay! So stay with this one and you'll be so excited!

The folks there are very nice and you'll love it!

....there ARE only 4 of us. Two reasons why we are staying at Ft W cabins:

1) my DH has Celiac Disease, so it is easier to prepaer his meals than trying to make ressies at WDW restaurants
2) my DS's really wanted to stay in the cains for the WHOLE vaca! (no wa-a-a-a-a-y!)

Just thought you'd appreciate this story. We were recently in South Africa (a trip, believe it or not) we won at a Food & Wine dinner last year at Jiko. We were set up for a tour at a winery there and were supposed to meet with the owner. He was unable to do so because a "famous Hollywood star" was helicoptering in, but they couldn't remember who it was, except his name was "Jackson" (and, not to be confused with Michael or Samuel, he was white). We had no idea who it could possible be. Several days after we returned, we saw a picture in the paper of Hugh Jackman and his wife visiting Nelson Mandela's jail cell in South Africa - he was our famous Hollywood star (unfortunatley not so famous in South Africa methinks).

Just thought you'd enjoy the story.
