I'm considering eating at Mama Melrose on my next trip. I noticed that alot of the food is wood grilled. Do you notice a wood grill smell in the dinning room? I have asthma and some restraunts that have wood grills often have the smell in the dining room and it gives me a lot of trouble breathing.

We've eaten there many times and have not noticed it at all. But then, we are not sensitive to it. The kitchen is removed from the dining room. I would be surprised if it was a problem for you. We stop there once each visit. We really enjoy it.

I didnt notice it when we ate there. I know if DD had smelled it she would have been concered that the place was on fire. (She was going through this weird thing about thinking stuff was on fire if she smelled anything remotely like burning)

Asthmatic here and have no trouble at all at Mama's.
