I have read many posts from you guys about all the great deals...and now I can check it out myself! Yahoo!!!!!!!!!! Now if only we had trip in the plans to give me even MORE reason to go!

Love Big Lots -- you can definitely find some great deals there.

I have to say my favorite thing to buy there (and I've *never* found it anywhere else) is Breck shampoo. I had read years ago in the Tightwad Gazette that Breck is THE best laundry stain remover, but by the time I looked for it, it was discontinued. Lo and behold, a year or so ago, they announced it was coming back and I found it at Big Lots, .99/bottle. And you know what? It really is the best stain remover ever! There's nothing Breck hasn't gotten out for me. And it's way cheaper than the "regular" stain removers.

So that's my Big Lots recommendation -- Breck shampoo for the laundry room!

They're in the process of putting one in nearby We had them when I lived in Buffalo - they were everywhere, so I took them for granted. I've been missing them!!

Thanks for the tip about the Breck shampoo as a stain remover, DiznEeyore! I'm going to have to try that!

I've also found some great deals at Big Lots. It's not my favorite store to shop in (ours is a bit run down and not well organized), but when I get there, I often find something I can use for a good price. Have fun shopping!

Ours is fairly new and pretty well stocked. They have some amazing deals on quality products and also a lot of junk. I wish I could go more often. If you see something you want, you'd best buy it now.
