You can go into the "User CP" (top of the board in black line far right) click "edit" and add whatever line you want -

Dis Veteran, earning your ears, etc are automatic, but when you want to add anything, that disappears...

and if you hang out on a "Community" board, there are threads about "Tagless Disers" sometimes a "tag Fairy" will grant you a "tag" and only the Tag fairy adds colors to the "tags" under your user name...

Sometimes the tag fairy visits silly threads and starts adding tags randomly to posters - which can get crazy silly!!

I've also read that you can post on the technical support thread and ask to have your tag "colorized".... I've not tried that...

just checked - its under "edit profile" selection from the "User CP"

and you can write one of your own, or it will automatically go to the earning ears, Dis Veteran etc..
