WOO HOO just bought my tickets AND

LoL we pick up the mini van rental in the morning on the 26th (while the kids are at camp) and bring it back and get it packed for when the kids get home from camp at 4pm and LEAVE drive: from Toronto to FL) WOO HOO I cannot wait, our 1st REAL Family Vacation and 1st time going to Disney.

We are picking our Disney Tickets up from Undercovertrouist in Florida on the 28th the kids still have NO idea we are even going thank goodness Its been hard keeping this secret but well worth the look on thier faces when we get there (have to remember to get the Kodak shot)
We will be meeting up with brother in law and his family at the house we rented close to Disney and have the Cinderella Round Table booked for lunch on the 29th I am totally NOT excited just kidding anyways THANKS EVERYONE for ALL the great advice and information on this site I LOVE it here and I hope to see some Green Tops to say HI to fellow DISboard Members we will be staying off site but there from July 29th til Aug 3rd so I will keep my eyes open

NOW the offical count down begins and I will start packing on Monday I think

Robyn, have a wonderful time! How old are the kids and when do you plan on letting them know? We did Universal one time with our youngest two girls, and surprised them with an extra week for Disney. The excitement was incredible! Enjoy the moment....and the trip!

Well they know we MIGHT go see my husbands family in CT (Connecticut) which we will for the last 2 days of our holidays SO I WONT be telling them til we get to the actual house rental

We will leave on the 26th in the afternoon and get to my husbands unlces in Gainesville, FL whenever (not in a rush I have never met him or his family) so I figured sometime on the 27th and then head to Davenport, FL (near Disney) where the house is on the 28th and meet up with my brother in law and his family when they get there so yeah we WONT tell them til whenever they might just think we are seeing them as last time we went to the US to see inlaws was 5yrs ago so my oldest was only 3yrs old so she doesnt remember the drive to CT and Florida wont be anything they love car rides as we dont have a car and evertime that we have rented 1 they enjoyed it long trip but we will make it fun plus we bought the dual screen DVD player

My kids are 4, 5 and 8yrs old, we will enjoy every moment as who knows when and IF we will be able to go again (but I am sure its like pringles once you have 1 you cant stop) LoL

I did it once and my DD(7 at the time) just cried and it wasn't especially happy. She was in a total state of shock. It took about an hour for her to get excited.
