woo hoo, I got a secret porthole room!!

I was so glad to be able to book our 6/19/04 Western cruise today. I was even happier when I was able to get a secret porthole room (#5022). #5020 and #5520 were already taken (probably by some quick DIS member!). My BIL, SIL and niece are toying with going with us, so I have the connecting room (#5024) reserved for them on a courtesy hold. I'm choking a little on the cost ($4,258.31 for 2 adults and a new teenager), but we can't take our son out of school when the rates are much lower. Oh well, I have 18 months to save up for it. Good luck to all who are now booking 2004 cruises!

SPRs are great! We had 5522 on our last 7-nighter (inaugural western), and liked it so much that we waited (and kept calling to see what would 'pop up') and got TWO SPRs for our Feb cruise. Saved $$ over our previously-booked deck 2 rooms, and we're right near all the good stuff (kids' programs, shopping, nightlife, Spa, etc). The view isn't great, but it's still a pretty good view (no office in sight)!
Enjoy 5022--we'll leave some Pixie Dust in there for you.

We got 5020 for August 28. Got up bright and early today to book it. I can hardly the year and half!LOL

We have SPRs throughout 2003! I love a verandah, but when you cruise as much as we do, you have to save money where you can...I love that "free" ocean view. The hallway can be noisy, since you're at the head of the hall, but I can tolerate it for 3 days.

We got two SPR's for Dec. 04. YEAH!!!! I'm so excited. It's such a long time away. Got a really great deal. Only $2,351.40 total for both rooms!!!

We has 5522. I loved that room. The location was very quiet, we thought, and so convenient. We rebooked in 5522 we liked it so much.

We have 5020, 5022 & 5024 for our family, MIL/FIL & BIL/SIL w/ niece on 11/6/03 3-day Wonder. Are these rooms used exclusively by DISers?!?!
