Made our reservations this morning for our trip in February. Our 6 year old son has milk and peanut allergies. We are doing Sci Fi again and going to try the 50's Prime Time. I'm not thrilled about doing Sci Fi again. The food was okay last time, but not great. I asked DS what was the one place he wanted to go back to and he said Sci Fi. I figured it would be a character meal or something and he said no that he liked the videos and stuff. We are also doing Biergarten and Tokyo Dining. Magic Kingdom we are going to the Plaza for lunch and then going over to the Poly to try Kona for dinner. Everything else will be counter service or at our resort.

Congrats on making the ADRs! I can definitely understand what you mean about SciFi...food is ok, but nothing great. But the atmosphere is great! I love 50's Prime Time. Their GF/DF/Soy Free fried chicken and dairy free mashed potatoes are phenomenal!

Have a great time! :thumbsup2

That is great! My oldest DD has milk and peanut allergies as well. Is sci fi a good choice? What does he like to get there? This is definitely a place we were thinking of getting a ADR for. DH and I always like it there too. :)

He had a burger and fries with a little ice cream sundae for dessert. I am thinking this was the restaurant that did the Mickey sprinkles on his sundae along with Hershey syrup. He had something else with the burger and fries, but I can't remember what it was. Pregnancy brain is kicking in. Might have been apple slices? Can't remember for sure. He loved the atmosphere and I really think that stuck in his mind. He was only 3 1/2 when we went last time and now at 6 1/2 that place stuck out in his mind more than any of the character dining (Crystal Palace and Garden Grill) we did last time.

I'm really hoping that we can do the dairy free chicken for him. He loves chicken and I think it would be a great match for him. I'm looking forward to the atmosphere at 50's PT. It just sounds like a fun place.

50's PT is great! It definitely is fun. If you get Cousin Tom or Cousin Janice, you're in for a treat. Those two are a hoot!

Also, as a tip, if you're interested in the fried chicken for special diets, you might just want to check with WDW Special Diets department because they do require some advance notice for the gluten free/dairy free fried chicken (it takes a while to prepare once chef quoted me a 40 min. process). I don't know if the regular fried chicken has dairy in it, so you might want to check to avoid a long wait when you get there. Just in case!
