Woo-Hoo - ADRs back at 180 days!!

Just read on the Dining Board that the ADR window is moving back to 180 days in late October!! Good for us DVC-ers who are booking trips at least 7 months in advance

Yeah!!! I just booked by 90 day out ADRs for my November trip. Now I have to get busy planning February - its such a hard life! I always thought that Disney was such a big organization why couldn't they plan further ahead?

I guess I am OK with this change AS LONG AS park hours, EMH, parade/fireworks times, etc., are also available 180 days out. Otherwise, planning appropriately will be darn near impossible.

Effective when? The parks hours being released 180 in advance starts 10/27. Nevermind, just found this: Effective October 27th, the booking window for advance dining reservations (ADR) will be extended to 180 days. Theme park hours will also be released 180 days in advance.

It states that park hours will also be posted 180 days in advance, so don't worry. Now I can have my reservations and itineraries done bi-annually (I know I need help)

I'm a huge planner when it comes to vacations!! I was never affected by the 90-day window. Our last trip was July 2008 and I made our ADRs 180 days out. Our next trip is July 2010 and I will be able to do the same. Woo-hoo!!

This is GREAT news!! We're a family that knows exactly where and when we want to eat around Disney. I made our June 2010 res's just last mointh and now I can make our ADR's this coming December.

Last month I wrote a letter to DVC membership complaining about the 90 day ADR fiasco. I guess there were enough complaints from all over, that Disney took them seriously, and realized their mistake.

Finally....I knew from the start the 90 days wasn't going to work for planners like myself. However, if the change doesn't take place til October, it's not going to make a difference for our January trip! But going forward, this is a very good thing!
