Has anyone ever gone to Wonderworks while staying at WDW on site? How long is the trip and is it worth it? I was considering going to Universal but my DD is 7 and I think she will be to afraid. What do you think, is it scary? We do not ride many rides, I just wanted to see what it was all about.

Thank so much.

I think your daughter would love Universal. It is mostly show type rides and very kid friendly. If she still likes Barney his show is worth checking out and the Curious George water play area is loads of fun. They have a boardwalk midway type area that is appealing to young children. The only ride/attraction I would say to aviod is Terminator. Universal is not about thrill rides it's about the movies if you want thrills that would be Islands of Adventure. I've never been to Wonderworks but I can't imagine it being able to hold a candle to Universal.

Thank you so much. I was so worried about her being afraid, but now I am more eager to go to Universal, I think whe will love it. Thanks again :thumbsup2

We did Wonderworks a few years ago and felt like it was a huge waste of money and time.

I would visit the Orlando Science Center instead of Wonderworks. It is much more enjoyable!

We went to Wonderworks last July 4th. The only reason we went is because our seatmate on our flight from EWR to MCO told us as we were getting off the plane that she had free tickets to Wonderworks from her son who lives in Orlando. We took them and they were the combo tickets that included the lazer tag and pizza buffet. It was pouring that day, so we went and had a pretty good time. We are 60+ but got a kick out of playing lazer tag for the first time in my life. We spent a few hours walking around and playing some games. Nice diversion for a very rainy day.

We like Wonderworks...we walk through the wonderworks and we always do the Magic Show too.

We did Wonderworks in Gatlinburg, and I would never choose that over Universal. We spent alot of money to get in, and didn't spend much time there (maybe 2 hours). Hope this helps.
