Hi! Just wondering if I could get a few details from those of you who have children who have been to the Wonderland Tea Party!Did your children enjoy it? Do they still decorate cupcakes and if so, do they eat them or take them with them? Also, do they get anything else to eat? What do they get to drink? Any input and details is appreciated!
Thank you so much!

Hello
My daughter went last Feb and it was wonderful.
Beautiful china sets fresh flowers.
She had a ball! Cupcakes were decorated then, I am not sure about now, you could always call Ressies then can give you the Floridian Number or Call the Floridian directly. Hope this helps you!

Not to be missed!! :earsgirl:

They were given tiny assorted sandwhiches/drinks.
Fresh flowers were given to the mom's when we picked up our daughters.

Too bad they won't create (maybe someday) with Disney, hard to say Never-
anyway
Some girls went dressed up, others went in short sets.
All had a wonderful time.

The staff is wonderful.
The atmosphere was beautiful as well as the table setting. :flower:

If you have a daughter/niece this event shouldn't be missed! :Pinkbounc

DD4 did this in December, once we got her to go in, she had a great time. She talked about it for days. The CM's are wonderful. It was very funny, toward the end, some of the parents were trying to peek through the doors to see what was going on and the CM's and Characters had all the kids yell at them "STOP PEEKING!!!" very cute. We gave DD a disposable camera to take with her and the CM's took a couple of pictures with it.

I agree that this one shouldn't be missed.

I just booked this today! :) It's $28.17 plus tax. You give a cc at booking then they charge it when you are there. 24 hour cancellation or the full amount is charged.

Happybratpack, thank you!!!!! I'm going to call and see if I can get my girls in!

Have fun! 7 days to go - I'm so jealous! ENJOY!

disneymama73...you're very welcome! This trip next week is just the two of us and all we can talk about is the NEXT trip with the kiddos! :) :)

They said they did 25 per party and it's M-F from 1:30-2:30, be there 30 mins prior. Hope this helps!

are just CMs there with the girls...or are there any characters?

are ressie made through central dining?

The party is hosted by characters from Alice in Wonderland! :)

You can call 407-WDW-DINE.

Well, I got the girls in for June 7th! Just in case anyone is interested, there were more openings for the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th.

Thanks again, happybratpack! :wave2:

My daughter (who is 5) just did this on Friday (04/29).

After you check in your child, you're given a pager...and they then allow all of the children to enter the dining room and pick out a seat.

The table was beautifully decorated - flowers, china, food, etc.

The children were seated; the parents snapped a few pictures; and then the CM's told the parents to basically 'disappear!'

My observations:

1. I saw both boys and girls participating - so boys can do this as well!

2. Although some girls wore their princess costumes, most children were dressed in their 'park' clothes - shorts and t-shirts.

3. Mad Hatter & Alice were the characters that participated.

4. My DD said she had plenty to eat - besides the cupcakes (which they decorate themselves), there were finger sandwiches, grapes, and other munchies.

5. Give your child a disposable camera (make sure they know how to operate it) and see what kind of pictures they take!

6. Most children had their autograph books with them to get Alice's and the MD's autograph.

7. Your child comes home with a photo of themselves with the characters, and a bouquet of flowers (for Mom).

My DD had a GREAT time and is still talking about how silly the Mad Hatter was on this! I would definitely endorse this Grand Adventure!
