Wonderland Tea Party

Who has taken their child to the Wonderland Tea Party at the Grand Floridian??? What was the experience like?? What did the kids have to say about it? Exactly how does it all work?? Thanks for any info or tips you could give.

My kids have done it several times and love it.

It is for kids only (no parents)! Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter play games with the kids, they get to decorate (and eat) cupcakes. They used to have lunch too but the last time my kids went (in July) they stopped the lunch.

All the kids seem to have a wonderful time - and there are some surprises too that I wouldn't want to ruin for you.

My DD did this for her 5th birthday. She had a blast. They kick the parents out. My DD got to sit by Alice so she was thrilled. They played games and had snacks. We would recommend it!

Our DD's have done this party together multiple times and had a great time each time. Like others have stated - no parents are allowed to stay. You basically check-in, get issued a pager, your children get seated when the room is ready, you can take some pictures and then you are informed it is a kids only party.

Also don't forget about the special doll with the regular tea !

We will celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday at WDW. Would anyone recommend the Wonderland Tea Party for her birthday celebration? Also, and more important, I guess, will they allow someone to participate that is a few weeks shy of her 4th birthday? We will be travelling with 5 girls....one who is under 4. I noticed that is the specified age requirement. Would they ever know? Thanks for any info. you are able to share!
