Hi everyone! I just booked DD5 for the Wonderland Tea Party on Oct 27:banana: Just wondering if anyone has been and what the kids thought?? DD & I are very excited, I know I can't go, but I am so thrilled for her!:yay:

My dd has been twice and going again in Nov. This time ds is going with her. My dd LOVES it! She turned 9 yesterday and still can't wait to go! My avatar pic is from the tea party :)

DD will be there on that day also. I can't wait, she is going to love it!

Thank you so much for your response! Your DD looks like she is having a great time in your pic!

My DD went back in Nov 06 on her 4th birthday and she still talks about it 2 years later! We also did the Princess Tea and she enjoyed the Wonderland Tea much better. It's top secret what they do, but she did tell me they threw grapes at the Mad Hatter and Alice played lots of games with them.

All I know is she came out of there with a huge grin on her face and was talking about it the whole trip. Every once in awhile she will say to me, "Remember that tea party with Alice? That was really fun, can I do it again?" So I know she loved it!

My daughter went in August she never said much about it.Iwas upset they never took pictures with her camera as they said to bring one.We are going again soon to Disney and she wants to do it again.:cool1: :cool1:

I'm glad to see the positive responses. I've got my daughter (4 years old) scheduled for the Wonderland Tea Party on Christmas day after a DTD BBB appointment. I'm so sad that I can't go!!

My 6 year old DD went in August, she told us that it was so much fun playing games with Alice and the Mad Hatter that she would love to go again next year

My DD (5) went this past August and had a blast! She enjoyed the same activities as others posted and I enjoyed some peaceful down time while I grabbed lunch at the Grand Floridian and ate along the water. Her little brother got to spend some alone time with Daddy and ride around the monorail. I'd say that 1 1/2 was a great break for all of us!

My 6 and 4 year old girls LOVED the tea party. At first they didn't want to go because they didn't know who they were and frankly DD6 was afraid of the Mad Hatter's nose! But I got them the movie and she fell in love with the characters. She is dressing as Alice this Halloween.

ANyways, it was a great party. It is held at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. I took photos of the table as we brought the kids in. They get a photo taken with Mad Hatter and Alice in an autographed keepsake folder. They liked the decorate your own cupcakes and the little finger foods (sandwiches and grapes). I asked if they threw grapes at the Mad Hatter, but they said no. Both girls thought he was hilarious. Get your kids to sit by the head table chairs so they can sit near Alice or Mad Hatter.

Make sure your kids are comfortable being left alone in an unfamiliar environment. One of the little girls in the party started to cry and the mom had to be called in to get her. They take your contact # (cell phone) in case they need you. Have fun. It was worth it. I just wished it lasted a little longer than the 60 minutes. You can't go very far or do much with only an hour other than sit right outside in the lobby until they're done!

If you have time, please feel free to read my trip report about the Tea Party:

do any boys go to this as well. I have 4 year old boy/girl twins and would LOVE for them to do this, but I would like to know if any boys go too? Thanks

I have read other threads where people said that their sons attended this event. My DD said the Mad Hatter was really funny, he tried to stuff grapes up his nose and then made them come back out. I would think that little boys would appreciate the Mad Hatter's silliness and the games that they play with the kids.

My DD's -3 & 5 at the time, loved it...we booked an adult "tea" at the GF lounge & had a date in the meantime....then DH picked them up and they joined us at our tea. They loved doing the activity by themselves. I think they felt "cool".
