DD will turn 4 two weeks before our trip. I'm wondering if the Wonderland Tea party (at 1900 Park Fare) is worth the $52? It's not that I think she wouldn't enjoy it, but I know this is her first of many trips (where she will remember the experience more in the future).

And after learning about the sleigh ride (we are going at Christmas), I'm thinking that would be a better use of the money and the whole family can enjoy.

Thoughts???

My children loved the tea party, they get to meet the Mad Hatter and Alice, you used to get pictures but they took the picture away and added them to the photopass, adults are not allowed to stay so we usually booked tea at the garden view tea room and relaxed for the hour. That price is also alot more than I remember paying. I do like the idea of the sleigh ride too.

Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Available to all guests, Cost is $40.00 ($42.60 including tax). May have changed but thats what I remember paying
Reservations used to be 90 days in advance at 407-WDW-DINE

I booked through 407-WDW-PLAY. Booked last week and they told me $52

My 6 year old and 4 year old DDs did the Tea Party recently, and they really enjoyed it. They keep talking about how silly the Hatter was being...stuffing cupcakes into his mouth, burping...just the silly type of things that are hilarious to young kids. The enjoyed the interaction with Alice.

It's a quick party, and they do easy projects and coloring. I think it was a nice memory for them, and I'm glad they did it.

Our daughter had recently turned 4 when she did this and really enjoyed it. It was a good break from the parks and a special experience for her. It was a nice break for us, too. DH kept it classy and fell asleep on a couch in the lobby and I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the resort and window shop, there are some nice stores there.
