We were talking today, at home about how the characters could possible see out of their costumes, does anyone know how the " mickey's and minnie's, poohs, and etc... see out of their costumes ?
Most of them see through the "eyes" in the costume, although their field of vision is quite limited (think of putting blinders and sunglasses on at the same time). That's one reason a "handler" is usually nearby to help guide them and make sure they don't fall or walk into something.
It's true. Characters have VERY poor vision. So a word of advice: try not to approach the characters from behind or from the side. They might not see you and could knock someone over.
