wondering about motion sickness at FJ and spidermanonderi

Me and my husband both get sick on certain ride butt we both made it through FJ once. We did not ride ot again the rest of the vacation but it is a must do at least once. Just close your eyese when you feel sick and that worked for me. I just got a headache.

Skip or consider skipping the following then:
Caro-Seuss-el
Cat in the Hat (has hard spins)
Men in Black (lots of spins)
One Fish Two Fish
Storm Force
Popeye & Blutos (white water rapids ride in a round raft. The raft spins, but not always fast)

Thanks for the advice.... I didn't have most of those on my list anyway, but the Popeye rapids ride.. I have been on other WWP rides with no problems, does it spin anymore than others do?

I think it is comparable in spinning to Kali.

Had you taken any motion sickness medication? I will have the patch for our cruise and was hoping that will make the ride ok.

No, I didn't take anything. I think the patch will really help. I also rode on an empty stomach (thought that was better) but maybe the hunger didn't help. I seemed to be the only person among the MANY people getting off the ride that felt sick. My husband was perfectly fine. I did feel better once I had a pancake in my stomach.

Personally, Spiderman will be fine, not sure about FJ or The Simpsons. Like someone else said, Spiderman has pauses in motion, which is good.

Simpsons is mostly jerky. It's like an amped up Star Tours. I can personally handle FJ but there is one dip that makes my stomach lurch. I'm fortunate that it passes right away though. I've never had an issue with Spiderman but it's more rocky, jerk back and forth and then go forward if that makes sense. Maybe it's kind of like Dinosaur but not as consistently jerky?

The only rides anywhere that bothered me are the Teacups, Mission Space, Body Wars (RIP) and Jimmy Neutron (also RIP).
