If you were to book an AKV standard studio for 2 adults, and 2 older children in your opinion, which location (Jambo or Kidani) would you prefer (size, possible views, location, restaurants offerings etc) and why?

We will be spending a lot of time at AKV/AKL and wondering if Kidani offers childrens activities similar to AKL?

Also wondering how far of a walk Jambo is from Kidani? Are there any restaurants at Kidani that offer American food?

Thank you

"Standard" view studios are about the same size at both buildings. All standards at Jambo have a pool view from 5th floor; at Kidani you can get road, parking lot or pool view and any floor and thus Jambo has the edge there with certainty of pool view. Both have kids activities; Kidani has the elaborate kids play area near the pool and much longer slide but Jambo has the bigger pool and a lot more shaddy areas.

Jambo wins with restaurants as it has a upscale table service (Jiko), an outstanding buffet (Boma), and a cafeteria style quick service (Mara), Kidani has only a table service (Sanaa). Mara is American style food and Boma has some. Jambo's lobby is much bigger as is its store. Kidani has the bus advantage because all park busses stop there first and then Jambo when going to parks and thus there is no issue at Kidani at getting on and finding seat during rush hours; the Downtown Disney bus stops at Jambo first. From front door to front door the walk is about 1/2 mile.
