Wonderful Weeks of Spring discount rates??

When I spoke with a girl this morning, I asked her about rates during the Wonderful Weeks of Spring. She did not have info, but said in the past there were special rates & packages that were offered then. I hope so!

I do believe that Disney still intends to have Wonderful Weeks of Disney in 2008.

On Friday, I was looking at the Wonderful Weeks of Disney and there were some in April and May, 2008. I have already booked a room only for May 20, 2008 thorugh June 7, 2008. May 29,30,31, 2008 and June 1, 2, 2008 were included in the Wonderful Weeks of Disney. I immediately called Disney reservations who told me that they were unsure of the 2008 Wonderful Weeks. (even though I actually saw them on the website)

After booking our June, 2007 vacation, I found out that three of those days were included in Wonderful Weeks of Disney. I called them and they gave me a discount for those three nights.

I'm definitely going to be calling Disney reservations tomorrow because that is when the 2008 rates are supposed to be out!

Are there usually good deals at this time??

According to the WDW website, these 2 weeks are the Spring dates:
03/30/08 - 04/05/08 04/06/08 - 04/12/08

My existing reservation has been updated for April 5-12, 2008 at CSR. Friday and Saturday nights are $175 (standard room), the rest of the week is $165. Now to wait for AAA rates and maybe a code!

Are those the 2008 rates or the 2007 rates? As you know, EVERYBODY is waiting for the 2008 rates to come out. If they are 2008 rates, when did you get them? Thanks a bunch, Lisa

Last year, I received a discount for two (or maybe it was 3) nights and a free ticket upgrade (to water parks and more on 2 adult and 1 child 7 day park hopper) and we saved over $300.00. I was very excited because that was $300.00 I could save on souveniers!

Those are 2008 rates. My reservation updated automatically overnight.
