Wonderful Weeks of Disney

Anyone know what this is about? We were planning on going January 7-11 but were wondering if it would be less crowded to go a week or two later. Disney's website says the Wonderful Weeks of Disney are less crowded and cheaper. They start on the 14-31. Anyone know if late January is better than the time we are planning on going?

I've haven't been in January (YET!!!) But from what I've read on the boards the parks are practically empty after Marathon weekend, the first weekend in January, I think. As far as crowds - everyone says that even the first week in January is much better than summer and holiday season. I don't know how much of an effect the Pirate and Princess party (in late January) will have, if any. And according to Passporter, the whole month is the value season!

Hmm, I'm going the 8th-17th, but I haven't heard anything about the Wonderful Weeks. Any idea what it means?
