We returned recently from Thanksgiving week at PB. It was great as usual but the first day there my husband and son returned from IOA without our son's beloved owl stuffed animal:sad2: Our son is autistic and carries owl with him to the parks. I knew he was probably gone but we returned to IOA and checked with lost and found. They did not have owl but the young man in lost and found that day was incredible. He said he would like to take our son over to the Universal store and let him pick out any stuffed animal he wanted. Our son chose Scooby doo and was so excited ! I feel bad that I could not remember the name of the employee but I do know that his name tag said he was from New York- he was a nice looking guy with black hair. He really made my son's day and I wanted to say a big thank you to him! He went out of his way for our son and I thought that was so nice of him.

On our last night there we checked one more time at US and they told us that someone in stroller rentals had turned in owl that night so we did get him back! So thank you also to who ever turned him in. I offered to pay for Scooby since owl was returned but they would not let me do it- they said he was a gift from them. So thanks again to everyone!
 
We were also at Universal over Thanksgiving and had to visit the lost and found at both parks. Both young men were very helpful and gave great customer service - they are to be complimented.

Most every employee we encountered that weekend were great!

now that was great and love it when people like that go out of there way to do something like that and goes to show ya the good out wieghts the bad people say about universal :thumbsup2

That's a great story! I've always thought Universal team members were top notch and never understood all the criticism they get.
 
Wonderful story! Not surprising, tho'...in our experience the TMs are almost always great.
 
We had to deal with L&F when DH forgot to empty his shirt pocket on ROTM.
Room key,annual pass and some other stuff flew from his pocket. He know as soon as it happened, and we checked the car when hte ride was over.
The employees at L&F were wonderful and didn't make DH feel like an idiot (which I was tempted to do LOL). Most of his items were recovered at the end of the night when they did a walk through, but we did have to replace his pass.
 
Are employees allowed to accept gifts? We are headed down for Christmas in a couple of weeks and would like to thank a few people if this is possible?
