My daugther and I returned late last night from our 10-day stay in Orlando. We began our vacation with a 2-night, 3-day stay at RPR before heading over to WDW.
We had a wonderful time: we stayed club level (fan club rate $209) and our room reservation had been upgraded to an executive king suite (I had not requested this; so it was a nice suprise). The king suites are lovely. Separate bedroom from the large sitting room--there is a pull-out couch in the sitting room. We were in room 7301. The windows overlooked landscaping and part of I-4. I adored the spaciousness of the room and the fact that we had two televisions.
We had no trouble during our very early check-in; the staff person checking us in knew about the Grade A program, and my daughter was also given the backpack with water cup and snacks. Actually, we opted to pick up the backpack later because we were anxious to get to the parks (our room was not ready); unfortunately, they ran out, but my daughter was given the backpack yesterday when we returned to drop off the rental car (I used Marriott points for a voucher for an 8-day rental from Hertz and the program did not allow for drop-off at the airport).
We had excellent housekeeping and the concierge staff was terrific. And of course, FOTL cannot be beat. I can't wait until our next visit to RPR and Universal Orlando.
If there are any questions, I'll be happy to try to answer.
