I never whine about not being informed. If I want to be informed, I watch the TV news or read the newspaper. Could they at least schedule these things a week in advance so that the networks could adjust their television schedule?

It bothers me because this is unnecessary and quite frankly, the President giving a speech is HARDLY an unbiased source of information. And it bothers me because it's NOT to inform us, it's an attempt to increase his approval ratings.
