Some of you may remember one of my nephews had bone cancer. He recently went in for his 3 year checkup and has now officiallly been tranferred to the cancer survivor group at Childrens Hospital. They said he only has to come in once a year for a checkup and doesn't have to do any more scans or anything!
He has continued to be an inspiration to everyone. Very much a typical 12yo, although he seems very interested in girls don't remember if most 12yo boys are that way
His battle with cancer included the total amputation of one of his legs. He has amazed his doctors and everyone with his abilities to do what many felt he might not be able to accomplish. He is one of the most positive upbeat kids I know.
