Howdy, all!! We are taking our second Very Merrytime Disney Cruise aboard the Wonder in December 2017. Last time, in December 2015, we were in 1070 and LOVED it. This time, we booked 2608 so we'd still be on a (very quiet) lower deck but also so we'd have one large porthole instead of two small ones. Can someone please confirm for me that 2608 has, indeed, one large porthole instead of two small? Thanks in advance!

Yes, there is one big porthole in the deck 2 rooms.

Yep :o Fixed.

Don't know why I typed "1" I was definitely thinking deck 2 when I wrote that post.

It happens. :) I still toy with changing to Deck 1 on my upcoming Wonder cruise, but it's not a huge $$ difference - less than $25 I know, possible less than $10. The significantly less would be the lowest category Inside GTY...but I did not have a great experience the last time I did a GTY (I mean, it was fine, but it was nowhere near where I'd select a cabin if doing it on my own) so I'm a little gun-shy of that.

While I've not stayed on deck 1, I have been in those rooms. I would only do deck 1, if deck 2 wasn't available. Especially with that small a price savings.

Yes, it does have a single large porthole. We have stayed in one room or another in that block of rooms on deck 2 on the Wonder, and LOVE that location. Not too expensive, very near the rear elevators (some are right there), which are like an express to the buffet/pool deck. And you can just step up one deck to the busy, interesting deck 3. I have no doubt from our own experiences that you will love that location.

This was 2116 on the Wonder in August 2016. Loved our deck 2 aft oceanview! Big porthole, close to elevators/stairs to walk up to decks 3/4 and elevator to deck 9 beverage station. We're in 2108 on the Magic next summer!

I am happy to hear you loved deck 1, we are booked on a B2B on the Magic next year and could only get the same room for both cruises on deck 1. I was thinking we could move to deck 2 after PIF but we are saving around $500 over both cruises so we will probably keep the deck 1 room.

We have stayed on deck 2 before and have found it to be convenient and not noisy but we were more mid ship.

Thank you, everyone, for all the fantastic replies!! When we booked (on-board in 2015), the lady assured me it was one big porthole, but then I panicked when online said 'one or two' so I wanted to be sure. You are all so awesome to take your time to help put my mind at ease. I LOVE fellow Dis people. Happy cruising, y'all!!
